Testing Now Avoids Problems Later

Your battery is a key component in the performance of your vehicle. Long drives allow your battery to replenish itself while short ones can stress its capabilities. Testing your battery on a regular basis alerts you to any potential issues that might otherwise leave you stranded on the side of the road.

3 Tips to Improve Battery Life

  • Plan your car trips so they last at least 20 minutes. This length of time gives your battery a sufficient amount of time to become fully charged. Shorter trips mean that the battery doesn’t become fully charged and can reduce its lifespan.
  • Always double check to be sure that all of your vehicle’s lights — interior and exterior — are off before you leave it.
  • Unplug all of your power adaptors before you leave your vehicle. Leaving them plugged in means they are pulling power from your battery.
